By Road
Access to St James’ Park is via Whittington Way on the northern side of the site and via St James’ Way to the southern edge. At both access points new roundabouts will be created to help the flow of traffic with local roads. The development is conveniently positioned close to key trunk roads the A1184 and A120, as well as Junction 8 of the M11.
By Rail
Bishop’s Stortford station is just a mile and a half from St James’ Park, so can be reached easily on foot or by bike. It is on the mainline between London Liverpool Street and Cambridge, with direct services also to Stratford and Stansted Airport. There are typically four trains per hour into Central London with a journey time of around 40 minutes to London Liverpool Street for a hassle-free commute.
By Bus
St James’ Park is served by local bus routes operated by Arriva connecting Bishop’s Stortford with Harlow and Stansted Airport. As well as commercial bus routes, the Stortford Shuttle is a community bus service that operates through Thorley. Countryside is investing in improved local bus services to make it even easier for residents to get around.
By Air
For international travel, Stansted airport is just seven miles away.
