St James’ Park, Countryside’s vibrant new community in Bishops Stortford, is proud to be this year’s headline sponsor of ‘Grove Cottage in The Park’, an exciting new food and music festival in the heart of Bishop’s Stortford.
Taking place from 12pm until 8pm in Sworders Field on Saturday 3rd September 2022, this action-packed event will host a selection of delicious food stalls and live music throughout the day, in addition to a performance from local stand-up comedy legend and actor, Paddy Lennox.
During the event, guests are invited to visit the event’s lip-smacking ‘Food Fest’ – a fantastic selection of food and drink stalls serving a range of mouth- watering cuisines, including Ques Idea Mexican Kitchen, Smok’n Greek, Amerio’s Bar, Real Lemonade and Waffle & Floss. In addition, ‘Grove Cottage in the Park’ will provide a fun Kids Zone and live music from local bands, as well as lots more entertainment for everyone to enjoy.
Organised by the charity Grove Cottage, the home of Mencap in Bishop’s Stortford, ‘Grove Cottage in The Park’ will help to raise much needed funds for the charity enabling them to continue to provide support for children and adults of all ages with learning difficulties by offering social and educational clubs and activities.
At Countryside, we strive to create places people love and a core part of this is engaging with and supporting the communities in which we work. We are delighted to partner with Grove Cottage to support their charity event “Grove Cottage in the Park”. We hope that the event not only helps to raise vital funds for the Charity but also helps to raise their profile and the fantastic work that they do within the local community.
